I think everyone is different. After one child and extremely long, difficult labor, I went completely back to normal. Yes, I did a lot of kegels but honestly what it took was time. I've heard that my experience is normal after one--but the 2nd and so on really change us permanently. I dunno, think of other similar muscles...I mean my throat has not become permanently stretched from too big a bite of chicken. Nor have the sphincters in my stomach or end of the intestine from too big a meal, etc. I think these things just snap shut. Great topic!
MOMINATRIX RADIO This live call in show takes a frank look at sexuality from a parent perspective.
"Try as hard as we may for perfection, the net result of our labors is an amazing variety of imperfectness. We are surprised at our own versatility in being able to fail in so many different ways." -- Samuel McChord Crothers
