Porno for Parents.

By Kristen Chase

hahahah...I thought I was the only one that Sex & The City episode got hot! I'm glad someone is talking about this...the problem, for me, with most "lady" porn is that...frankly, I need context. That IS the thing that turns me on rather than random body parts. And "lady" porn still doesn't address this. And when it does, I'm turned on for having sex with the guy from the flick, not necessarily my partner. What's the point of having sex with him and thinking about porn guy? Why not just masturbate on my own rather than someone else's body? Too much trouble. And I have to laugh...yeah, the idea of watching regular waxed, siliconed, probably have to take drugs so they can have sex without crying porn just DOES NOT do it for me and my postpartum self. Or even my prepartum self. WTF?...;)

Books. Romance novels. While they can be somewhat predicatable story wise, if you get the right author they can get you in the mood. It is also nice because I don't have to look at those fake boobs.

I really don't dig porn, but I think a few years ago someone did one of those very useful "studies" and found that men whose partners read romance novels get a lot more sex than those whose don't.

The characters (and the writing)in romance novels are too vapid for me, but there's some decent erotica out there that you can get at the "regular" book store.
