Good article. Personally, I wanted a 4 year old when my second son was born, so I can relate in a way. Babies are cue and all, but raising one up through diapers, etc. is enough. I fear teenagerdom.

Hilarous and honest. Quite ballsy, too. I love it! Although I love and cherish my little ones, and am prone to getting weepy and sappy over all the moments and milestones, it is comforting to know I am not the only one whose eyes glaze over like a dead fish at the thought of playing princess/mermaid/my little pony make-believe (just shoot me!) or Hi Ho Cherry-O or some other equally insipid board game!

I wholeheartedly agree. Babies are not for the weak.
