that must have been the sheerest agony! nothing much changes, i fear, on school buses. my kids report similar tribal warfare in a small market town in central england! i wouldn't be a teenager again for anyone's money ....

Oh, I agree. My teenagers ask if I wouldn't like to go back to my "glory days", and I am quick to say, "no!" I don't miss those days at all. It's funny how clothes, music, and many things change, but the social aspect of school remains the same. I'll just stay an old fart!!
