OMG, roller derby sounds like so much fun! It's going to be hard for me to stop myself from clotheslining the bitch down the street next time I go rollerblading, lol.

Love the article!! I'm GCRG with Di and I so identify with what you are saying. It's such a change to have derby consuming me rather than using all my energy to focus on my children. And, I definately don't consider it to be a bad thing for them to see me as more than Mom and to see that while I do love and care about them, I need to care about myself too. It's so great to be Maim E. the rollergirl in addition to being Mom the nurturer.
